What:
The annual Feast Against Famine hunger banquet is the single largest fundraising event benefiting the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf.

When:
Friday, March 13th 2009 from 6pm to 9pm

Doubletree Hotel Burlington

Who:
Northfield Savings Bank gives 10% of their profits to Vermont community organizations. Their commitment to service makes them an invaluable partner in the fight against hunger.
The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf works to alleviate hunger by feeding people and cultivating opportunities. As the largest direct service emergency food provider in Vermont, CEFS serves over 11,300 people each year.

Why:
Each year Northfield Savings Bank brings together local businesses and community leaders to raise money and awareness about hunger in Chittenden County. This year we are honoring Rice Lumber and Bob Maritano for making a difference in our community.
