COMMUNITY KITCHEN FOUNDER AND NATIONAL HUNGER ACTIVIST TO SPEAK AT CHITTENDEN EMERGENCY FOOD SHELF

Hunger activist Robert Egger founded DC Central Kitchen in 1989 to provide a comprehensive solution to poverty, hunger and homelessness. Egger pioneered the Culinary Job Training program to equip unemployed and underemployed men and women with the life and professional skills needed to have a successful career in the food service industry.

This Thursday, April 16th at 1:00pm Robert Egger will speak to the students of Burlington’s Community Kitchen, a program of the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf and the Vermont Foodbank.
